TMO at MWSF - Eye-Fi Wireless Memory Card Adds Leopard Support, More

by , 10:40 AM EST, January 14th, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO -- Eye-Fi on Monday said that its wireless storage card for digital cameras now supports Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard and Apple's Safari 3.0 Web browser, in addition to the ability to upload images directly to iPhoto. The company plans to demonstrate its Eye-Fi product during this week’s Macworld Expo in San Francisco.

Compatibility with Safari 3.0 allows users to access the Web-based Eye-Fi manager for changing card settings and uploading preferences. The new software upgrade is free for existing users and will be included in new Eye-Fi cards, which retail for US$99.99 for 2GB of storage.
