TubeStick hybrid Supports Digital, Analog TV

equinux announced its new TubeStick hybrid TV viewer for the Mac on Wednesday. The USB-based TV receiver supports viewing digital over-the-air HDTV (ATSC), digital (QAM), and analog cable TV (NTSC), and doesn't block other ports on the MacBook or MacBook Pro.

TubeStick hybrid includes a compact antenna, an S-Video and composite break-out cable, and equinux's The Tube 2 application with support for viewing, pausing, and recording TV shows directly to your Mac. It also supports the TubeToGo Web service that lets users manage their recordings online and view them on the go with an iPhone or iPod touch.

TubeStick hybrid will be available in February for US$129.

Subject: Unfortunately named product

I called the local Apple store to ask when they expected to have these and my account guy said "Tube steak? Bosco, I didn't know you swung that way." Well, I didn't know he swung that way. In fact, I thought he was married. Now I find out he's another Apple switcher.
