FilkeMaker Introduces Training Series

FileMaker announced on Thursday their FileMaker Training Series. The inexpensive, self-paced package includes a series of twelve training modules.

The package contains over 500 pages, in color, of detailed, step-by-step instructions on key FileMaker development topics. In addition to the manual, a CD includes demo files, exercises, and videos demonstrating the solutions to selected exercises.

"The FileMaker Training series is targeted at intermediate to advanced FileMaker developers, but anyone that creates databases can increase their knowledge from these time-tested materials. It also serves as a stepping-stone to becoming a FileMaker 9 Certified Developer," Filemaker said.

Topics include Using FileMaker, Working with Fields, Data Modeling, Working with Layouts, Calculation Functions, Scripts, Reporting, Connectivity, Web Publishing and more.

The FileMaker Training Series is immediately available and priced at US$99.00.
