iPhoto 7.1.2 Fixes iWeb, Security Issues

by , 8:10 AM EST, February 6th, 2008

Apple released iPhoto 7.1.2 late on Tuesday with fixes for security-related issues and publishing photos to a .Mac Web Gallery.

The update fixed a flaw where subscribing to a maliciously crafted photocast could allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary code on your computer. It also improved overall stability, and fixed several other minor issues.

iPhoto is part of the iLife suite which is priced at US$79. The iPhoto 7.1.2 update is free for all iLife '08 users and is available via Apple's Software Update application or as a downloadable installer from the Apple Support Web site.

All it needs to do is introduce a 32Gb iPhone here this year, preferably in alliance with Vodafone, and I'll give it yet more money.
