TypeIt4Me 4.0 Adds Spelling Auto-correct

by , 8:30 AM EST, February 20th, 2008

Ettore Software announced the immediate availability of TypeIt4Me 4.0 on Wednesday. The new version of the text auto-expander added the ability to auto-correct spelling mistakes.

The AutoCorrect feature takes advantage of the built-in Mac OS X spell checker and can be activated or deactivated with a hotkey. Version 4.0 also added Autocue which lets users define boilerplate text with variable parts that can be manually completed when expanded.

TypeIt4Me 4.0 is priced at US$27 and is available for download at the Ettore Software Web site. Upgrades are priced at $9, and are free for users that purchased the application after August 1, 2006.
