Apple to Open Baton Rouge Store on Thursday

Apple is planning to open its newest store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6. The Mall of Louisiana store will both sport the usual amenities including a Genius Bar and One to One shopping, and marks the first Apple Store for the state.

Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Opening, free training events and free T-shirts for the first 1000 visitors.

Baton Rouge is about 65 miles from here, and worth the drive across the Atchafalaya swamp I-10.
