Toast 9 Titanium Sports Blu-ray, Internet Streaming

by , 11:45 AM EDT, March 17th, 2008

Roxio announced the immediate availability of Toast 9 Titanium on Monday. The new version of the CD and DVD disc burning application supports Blu-ray discs and streaming content over the Internet to other Macs, iPhones, and the iPod touch.

Version 9 also records high definition content from HD camcorders, TiVO and Elgato's EyeTV to Blu-ray discs; burns HD cideo and slideshows on standard DVD discs; captures Internet streaming audio; automatically tags captured music tracks with song title and artist information; and more.

Toast 9 Titanium is priced at US$99.99, and the High Definition/Blu-ray Disc plug-in for authoring Blu-ray video costs an additional $19.99. Users that purchase Toast 9 Titanium at the Roxio Web site through April 13, 2008 will get the High Definition/Blu-ray plug-in for free.

Interesting... their site says that the new version can do internet streaming to an iphone, mac, pc, etc. Also says that it can cut out commercials & unwanted content from shows that you're burning to disc. Interesting.

I'll be buying from Roxio's US site as Roxio seem to think there is one USD to one GBP.
