Apple Posts WWDC 08 Sessions and Labs Schedule

Apple Posts WWDC 08 Sessions and Labs Schedule

by , 12:15 PM EDT, April 3rd, 2008

On Wednesday evening, Apple posted the schedule for the sessions and labs for the 2008 Worldwide Developers Conference. There are three main tracks: iPhone, Mac and IT.

Attendees can sort the sessions names by titles and set filters to focus on topics of interest.

Apple is describing WWDC 2008 as a "landmark event," the meaning of which typically becomes clear only during the Keynote presentation. In the past, well over 3,000 developers from all over the world congregate each year to hear the mid-year keynote from Steve Jobs and attend sessions by Apple engineers that educate developers on key technologies. Labs allow developers to obtain assistance from Apple engineers to debug their code. Parties and special events round out the agenda.

WWDC 2008 is being held June 9-13 at Moscone West in San Francisco. The nominal registration fee for registered developers is US$1,295. Hotels are filling up already according to checks by TMO.
