Keyboard Maestro 3.1 Adds Clipboard History, Filtering

Stairways Software announced the immediate availability of Keyboard Maestro 3.1 on Thursday. The update for the keyboard macro application added a clipboard history and clipboard filtering.

Keyboard Maestro 3.1

Version 3.1 added the ability to set the clipboard to specific text, a named clipboard, or previous clipboards. It also added the ability to remove styles from clipboard contents, change line endings or text case, encode and decode HTML, count characters and words for clipboard contents, execute actions based on XML code, and more.

Keyboard Maestro 3.1 is priced at US$36 and is available for download at the Stairways Software Web site. The update is free for version 3 users.

I used KM for many years, and then grew past it as the OS and keyboards I used became more feature rich. With the new clipboard features, it may be worth another look.
