O'Reilly Media announced the immediate availability of the third edition of Photoshop CS3 Accelerated by Blues Kim on Friday. The 280 page book includes step-by-step exercises for beginners and pros that show off Photoshop CS3 features like applying textures to 3D text and creating transparent pages for the Web.

The title also shows how to create reflections and shadows, simulate neon lights and fireworks with paths, adding artistic effects with filters, and more.

Photoshop CS3 Accelerated is priced at US$24.99.
