Savant Announces Open Developer Program
by , 9:55 AM EDT, July 1st, 2008
Savant Systems announced its new Savant Open Developer Alliance program on Tuesday. The program was introduced at Apple's World Wide Developer Conference and is now open to all Mac OS X developers interested in coding Automator Actions for the Savant home automation platform.
The Alliance program includes access to Savant System's RacePoint Blueprint graphical coding environment that takes advantage of Quartz Composer and Automator to control the company's home automation systems. It also lets developers manage Savant System's ROSIE controllers like in-wall touch panels, wireless touch panels, and the ROSIE Coffee Table Touchpanel, and control devices via an iPhone and iPod touch interface.
Interested developers can download the Savant Open Developer Alliance application in PDF format at the Savant Systems Web site.
