Mississippi, Vegas Apple Stores Opening Aug 30

Apple is planning to open its first store in Mississippi and fifth store in Nevada on Saturday, August 30. The Renaissance at Colony Park and The Forum Shops retail stores will open their doors at 10:00 AM local time, and will sport the usual amenities including a Genius Bar and One to One shopping.

The Renaissance at Colony Park store is located in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and The Forum Shops location is Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada -- Apple's fourth store in the city.

Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Openings, including free training events and seminars. For a complete list of events and directions to Apple's new Renaissance at Colony Park and The Forum Shops stores, visit the Apple Retail Web site.

There will now be 3 Apple stores in Las Vegas ...
1. Fashion Show Mall (on the Strip)
2. Forum Shops, Caesar's Palace
3. Town Square mall (on Strip, just south of Mandalay Bay).

The 4th store is in Reno, at Summit Sierra mall ...

5th Apple shop is planned for City Center (Strip) which will not open until late 2009 ...
