Trans International Unveils Pro Drive Enclosure for Mac Pro

Trans International announced the immediate availability of the Pro Drive Mac Pro internal hard drive enclosure on Tuesday. The enclosure is a dual drive RAID sled that holds up to two 2.5-inch SATA hard drives.

Pro Drive

Each enclosure can hold two 7200 RPM drives, allowing for up to eight drives in Apple's Mac Pro computer. Sleds can be configured for RAID 1 or RAID 0 via a dip switch, and can achieve over 400MB/sec data transfers.

The Pro Drive enclosure is available at the Trans International Web site, and is priced starting at US$169 without any hard drives installed.
