My Apple Space Makes its Debut

My Apple Space Makes its Debut

by , 2:50 PM EDT, October 9th, 2008

My Apple Space has made its formal debut. Hosted in Denmark, the social networking site aims to provide Apple users around the world a place to connect, cultivate relationships, build a strong sense of community, and become the ultimate switcher machine on the Internet.

My Apple Space offers a lively forum, music, photo and movie uploads, live chat, groups, as well as a excellent blogging platform. Any blog that is written by a member is collected into one mutual blog that is featured on the My Apple Space home page.

"The Apple buying experience is an event unto itself", said Brian Floe, the founder. "We want to further that experience by offering the ultimate Apple user network, geared towards helping out and making friends in the wonderful world that is Apple."

Membership is free.

Wow. If that site doesn't make an Apple user gag, I'm not sure what will. Looking at it on my Mac almost made me think I was using Windows 3.1!

I really don't know what you are complaining about. Sure it's not uber-flashy but I don't think it looks that bad. It?s easy to navigate, and has no annoying pop-ups, rollover ads, and such. I think it's a solid design that just works.
