Macworld Conference and Expo opened a call for entries in the new Digital Art Gallery attraction that will be part of the 2009 event in San Francisco. Gallery submissions are open to digital artists from any background using Macintosh computers.
30 works of art will be selected by a review panel that includes Rudolf Frieling, Media Arts Curator at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder; Pop artist icon Peter Max; and Nathan Moroney, Principal Scientist, HP Labs.
Entries cost US$20 each, and artists submitting works for consideration must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States.
Macworld Expo runs from January 5 through January 9, 2009, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. For additional information about the Expo and events, visit the Macworld Expo Web site.
