OWC Boosts External Hard Drive Capacity to 1.5TB

OWC's miniStack
OWC announced Thursday that it has increased the storage capacity of two of its external hard drive solutions to 1.5TB (that's 1500GB), up from 1TB. Both the NewerTech miniStack powered hub and two versions of the OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro will now support the higher capacity.

The models and prices that include the 1.5TB drives are as follows:

* NewerTech miniStack v2.5 FireWire 400/USB 2.0 Storage & Powered Hub $269.99
* NewerTech miniStack v3 FireWire 800/400/USB 2.0/eSATA Storage & Powered Hub $299.99

* OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro FireWire 800/400/USB 2.0/eSATA $279.99
* OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro FireWire 400/USB 2.0 $249.99
