Photoshop CS4, Analog Style

Adobe Photoshop may be the de facto standard application for digital image editing, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement -- or at least reinterpretation. One enterprising group did just that by building the Photoshop interface out of design studio supplies.

wandaaaa and friend's analog Photoshop

Flickr user wandaaaa and team built the analog version of Photoshop's interface for a poster commissioned by Software Asli. It includes the Tools panel, open document with rulers, menus, and several other panels, too. You can check out the interface under construction at the Flickr Web site.

I can't resist, but I can just see some computer illiterati using real paint on the monitor. Well, that assumes that they knew how to use a mouse sufficiently well to open the application.

Ha - that's awesome! I wonder how long it took them to put it together. I noticed that they have a "CMY" without the "K" in the color palette.
