Apple Releases Glass Trackpad Update for MacBook, MacBook Pro

Apple rolled out a firmware update for its new uni-body MacBook and MacBook Pro models late on Monday. The MacBook, MacBook Pro Trackpad Firmware Update 1.0 addressed issues users have been experiencing with the laptop's new glass trackpad.

According to Apple, the update fixed an issue where trackpad clicks weren't recognized, and that the update is for the late 2008-model MacBook and MacBook Pro.

MacBook, MacBook Pro Trackpad Firmware Update 1.0 is available via the Software Update application, or as a downloadable installer at the Apple Support Web site.

1. Fewer missed targets due to finger smudging when clicking.
2. No more frozen cursor.
3. No more missing cursor.
