Mac Gaming News - Disney Plans 1st Annual PotC Online Thanksgiving Event

Beginning Thursday, Nov. 27, players of Pirates of the Caribbean (PotC) Online should head to the virtual beaches of Tortuga for a special Thanksgiving event, The Founders Feast, that will end Nov. 30. PotC game masters and founders, who were the earliest members, will mingle with others to share stories, dancing, music, and other traditions dating back to old European harvest festivals. All Unlimited Access players who participate will also receive a limited edition pirate bandana.

Disney Online also noted that it is still accepting submissions for the Live the Pirates Life Anniversary Content, which ends on Jan. 2. Entrants are encouraged to shoot a video of themselves in pirate gear explaining how much they love the game. Prizes include a MacBook, a trip to the Disneyland Resort, with a stay in the Pirates of the Caribbean suite at the Disneyland Hotel, and more. Details can be found at the game's official web site.
