DV Dailies - Popwire Ships Compression Master 3.0

Popwire Technology has released a new version of Compression Master, bringing it to version 3.0. Compression Master is a utility designed for encoding digital media. The new release features support for Windows Media Player 9 and optimized MPEG-4 quality.

According to Popwire, other highlights in this new release include a new speed and quality optimized MPEG-4, 2-pass H.263, in and out points, fractional frame rate filter, EVRC and QCELP speech codec and streaming support for 3GPP2, transcoding between NTSC and PAL, MPEG-2 VBR support, improved preview, support for reference files, improved GUI.
