DV Dailies - DeckLink Updated with VariCam Over/Under Crank Support

Blackmagic Design has released updated Mac OS X drivers, version 4.7, for its DeckLink product line. The Blackmagic DeckLink is a PCI capture card designed for connecting broadcast video decks in an editing environment, and the new drivers enhance support for an HD camera.
According to Blackmagic Design the latest release features expanded support for the Panasonic HD VariCam, adding the ability to capture over/undercranked video. Over and under cranking is a term used when images captured from the camera are either speed up, as in time-elapse photography, or slowed down, as in slow motion shutter speeds.
Another addition is the option to simultaneously play back video in both HD-SDI and SD-SDI, and the inclusion of an Easy Set-up preference for VariCam users cutting in Final Cut Pro.
