DV Dailies - Pansonic Ships New Large Venue DLP Projectors

Panasonic Broadcast has announced the release of a new DLP projector for theaters and large venue settings, the PT-DW7000U. The PT-DW7000U features a 16x9 native imaging chip and combines 6,000 lumens of brightness with 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution and theater-quality 4000:1 contrast ratio.
The projector also utilizes Panasonic's Dynamic Iris for fine tuning the lamp output in 256 steps, and in conjunction with the Dynamic Gamma correction, gives the projected image deeper blacks and whiter whites.
