DV Dailies - Apple Store to Demo New Storyboarding Utility Next Thursday

Apple has an upcoming event at the Grove Apple store in Los Angeles. On May 5th, Ken Schafer of Innoventive will be demonstrating the app FrameForge from FrameForge 3D Studio. The app is designed for the pre-visualization and storyboarding of film and video projects. Along with storyboard frames, FrameForge also includes pertinent camera data and other information for use during production.

You can find more information about the FrameForge demonstration at the Apple Web site. The event is scheduled for next Thursday from 7PM to 8PM .

Has anyone actually used Frameforge 3D? I was thinking of using it to storyboard my next project. Any experiences?

Never used it but boy does it look neat. My only question is how difficult and time consuming it might be. After all, if its faster to draw the storyboard by hand it would have to be pretty sweet to sell me. It looks fun to use however...

Yeah thats basically what I am wondering. Cause if its anything like most 3D programs it could be pretty time consuming. And I wonder how comprehensive the library of objects and actors really is.
