Apple has turned the Sydney Opera House into a digital canvas, where artwork created on iPad now lights up its iconic sails as part of a new collaboration.
The project, titled “Illuminating Creativity,” runs from March 25 to 27 and features work from 10 emerging Australian artists who created pieces using iPad and Procreate, showing how digital tools now shape modern illustration.
Apple Inc. says the initiative highlights creativity, community, and local talent, while also inviting the public to take part through free Today at Apple sessions held earlier this month across Australia.
Selected artworks, including public submissions, now appear on the eastern Bennelong sails each evening, turning the landmark into a large-scale digital gallery that blends technology with culture.
Tim Cook also shared video footage of the projection, offering a closer look at how iPad art transforms the Opera House at night.
