Aspyr Media has announced that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for Mac has gone gold, and that the game will begin shipping on November 29th. The game puts the player in the role of a crime scene investigator, and is based on CBS's CSI franchise. The game's description from Aspyr:

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation™ immerses players in the CSI world created by the hit TV show and introduces five new, complex crimes. With real music, atmosphere and locations, gamers become a part of the CSI team. Enter the gritty world of solving the vicious murder of a woman, a slain police officer and a mysterious arson case, among others. Players must utilize razor-sharp wit, puzzle-solving prowess and unflinching nerve to stay on the case and track down the killers. No longer just observers of the action, players must work with the CSI cast to discover the truth and pinpoint the killers.

System requirements:

  • Mac OS 10.2.8 or later
  • PowerPC G3/G4/G5, 500 MHz or faster
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 2.3GB free disk space
  • 3D
    Graphics Acceleration required (ATI Radeon 7500/nVidia GeForce 2 or better)
  • 32MB of VRAM
  • 8X CD-ROM
