Aspyr Media announced the immediate availability of updates for Tiger Woods PGS Tour 2005 and Civilization IV for the Mac on Monday. The PGA Tour update fixes a launch failure for Mac OS X 10.3.x users, adds Command-Tab and Command-H shortcut support in full-screen mode. The Tiger Woods PGS Tour 2005 1.1 Rev A update is available for download at the Aspyr Media Web site.
The Civilization IV 1.61 Rev A update improves performance on certain Macs, and especially on G5 models, fixes sound issues, addresses problems with the "Big Blue Marble" mod and more. The update is available at the Aspyr Media Web site.

This really takes the cake. I sure hope that TMO is being paid a lot of money up front, as these will probably drive readers away. To understand what this is like, consider talking on the phone. You say the word "computer" and a loud, insistent voice comes on hawking HP, Dell, whatever. Say "vacation" and another loud voice tells you about cruises. Yes, I know that the text doesn't appear unless I put the cursor over the words, but that is irrelevant. It's still rude. Another site that I used to read almost every day started doing this --that's why I "used" to read it--no more.
