Mac Gaming News - Cake Mania Comes to the Mac

The Mac-only game publisher, Red Marble, in conjunction with Sandlot Games, announced the immediate availability of the family-friendly game, Cake Mania for Mac OS X on Thursday.

Red Marble described the game as, "a wildly popular game on the PC and other gaming platforms, and winner of the prestigious iParenting Media Award, Cake Mania serves up countless delights that will have the whole family begging for more."


Jill, the heroine of Cake Mania, returns home from culinary school only to find that her family's bakery has gone out of business. In this fast-paced gaming favorite, players must help Jill rebuild the family bakery from scratch, baking custom cakes for a wide variety of customers in the process—some of which are hilarious—and earn enough money to reopen the bakery. The player's task is to help Jill finish the cakes before her customers grow impatient and walk away.

Cake Mania is a Universal Application and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. It is priced at US$19.95.
