Ever wonder what goes into making a processor chip faster? This article from the times gives an explanation that non-techies can easily wrap their mits around. In addition, the author is either a Mac partisan under cover, or is just very unbiased in his views ont he processor wars. He makes several seemingly offhanded comments about the superiority of the PowerPC line over Intel's offerings. A very good read, though chipheads may find the information to be old hat.
