When a team's registration is processed, the MWC99 staff write a
brief Threat Assessment of them and their players. This is purely
based on any personal knowledge that the MWC99 staff have of the
order's play, and their previous performance in
tournaments. Basically, it's a little experiment to see how well our
threat assessments match up to the actual results. You shouldn't get
offended if your order is rated as a low threat; we obviously haven't
felt the crushing power of your might first-hand.
The Threat Ratings (signified by a number of Trow) are a
convenient way of classifying orders and letting us work out which
matches we should concentrate the most attention on. The threat
ratings roughly correspond to the following values:

A serious contender to take home the Cup.

A respected order and a formidable opponent.

An established order, but not one likely to inspire fear.
We've never heard of these guys.

Every time a match is reviewed, the Strategy Analyst who
reviewed it awards the match a rating, based on how exciting a match
it was. Smooth moves, good play and amusing commentary all affect a
match's rating. Match ratings are represented by some number of ghols
and roughly correspond to the following values:

An instant classic. A superb match between two close opponents. On
a level with the famed Civil vs Violators match from MWC98.

A match that's definitely worth taking a look at; good play, close games,
amusing moments, or all of the above.

Some good play, and a bit of tension. If you like to watch an
average match between two orders, this is probably worth the download.

Not a match with any particularly sparkling play. Probably of
interest only to serious film junkies.
A 25-minute CTF camp-fest with very little
attacking, or a match between people who've never played Myth
before, might score 1 ghol.

The films for this match are probably missing or corrupted.
