The fallback day for the second week of the Qualifying Round has come and gone, and there were a total of fourteen forfeits (as compared to one last week). Orders are disintegrating, getting times wrong, no longer interested in playing - who knows. But there were a lot more than we were expecting.
This is going to require changes to the way that we handle forfeits. Our present system works well for maybe one or two forfeits per pool; much more and it starts to break down.
Over the next day or so, scoring is therefore going to be wacky. Please bear with us. Our current plan is to make all forfeits worth 100% points and to change the way that DE seeding is done; instead of taking the total points, we would take the average point total over all matches that weren't won by forfeit. Let us know if you think this is a good or a bad idea.

We hope that QR Week 2 is progressing well for you. A lot of orders are submitting results improperly; remember, please, that you should be submitting results according to these guidelines.
Because there are such a lot of results this week, it may take a while for us to get them all processed and up on the website. You can check out progress on this week's matchlist, which will tell you which results we have currently received and which matches are still to play.
Be patient. We are going to have to process almost three hundred games this weekend, and it will take longer than you might like.

The fallback times for every one of this week's matches have been changed. Please check this week's matches to see how they have changed, or go to your team's page to see the new fallback times for your matches.
This has been done for two reasons; firstly, it spreads the matches out evenly over the day (important for us) and it stops orders from being double-booked (important for you).
However, you should still try and schedule your matches sometime before this time if it is at all humanly possible. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Reviews of matches are starting to flood in, and threat ratings of orders are being revised accordingly. If your order's match hasn't been reviewed yet... be patient, is all I can say.
We have enough match reviewers now. Thanks to all those who emailed expressing interest.
Finally, please don't spam us with email that we don't want. So far today I have received 142 email messages, ranging from subjects like Papascrub's chocolate milk habit to the fact that supposedly Thasaidon is the master of all and will never leave Ascension. We don't need to hear this.

I've spent the morning going over the statistics-tracking system, and it should work much more smoothly both now and for next week's matches.
The following orders fielded players last week who weren't on their order's roster, and so aren't being tracked... please remedy this situation if you can, by ending us player info for them. If you keep fielding players who aren't on your roster we may become irritated.

- The Observers: Kane
- Infinite Republic: Pugsley, Morticians Lair
- David Eddings Order: Mase
- The Freelance Corps: Shai'tan, Killer Klown
- Manic Depressant Dwarves: Soldier, Razor
- Clan of Mortal Danger: ICU
Note that it's possible that these players are in fact on your roster, but you didn't register them under these names. If that's the case, let us know.
If you can still see any problems with the statistics tracking system, please feel free to point them out.

As you have probably noticed, there are a lot more matches than there are reviewers right now. And this is only going to get worse in the second and third weeks of the Qualifying Round.
If you have even the slightest interest in reviewing matches, please, drop us a line.

I'd like to offer my congratulations to everyone on a job well done last week. Everything went smoothly, and we had only one forfeit out of forty-eight matches in Week One of the Qualifying Round.
This week, everyone has two matches to play. The matches are the same as last week's in every respect (except this time you can watch your opponents' films beforehand).
Please note that the fallback times are not correct at the moment and some teams may be double-scheduled as a result. We hope to fix the fallback times within the next 24 hours; check back here for further info.
Teams' rosters have been updated with all of the information that they supplied during the past week. Once again, ALL ROSTERS ARE NOW LOCKED. Please ensure that you do not field any players who are not listed on your team's roster as seen on your team's page.
You should try and get your players to play using the same player name as they are listed with on the website. If they use a different name, then they won't get any credit for their games.
Go to it! Have fun!
