As of this afternoon, I am stopping work on MWC99 for about two weeks, as I first get ready for and then attend SIGGRAPH '99 in Los Angeles. In the interim, Cap'n Carnage will be handling all MWC-related communication; you may reach him at cptcarnage@bungie.net and also on the MWC99 Discussion Forum.
Brackets for Round Six have been posted and teams have been notified; Round Six's fallback times aren't until the 15th and 20th of August, so there is plenty of time available. However, if teams play their matches early, then Cap'n Carnage will schedule subsequent rounds in my absence up to but not including the Grand Final.
Whitey said that he might be organising some Exhibition Matches between MWC teams in the interim, however I have not heard back from him. He may post regarding this on the MWC99 Forum.
Good luck to each of the six remaining teams! I will see you all sometime around the 16th of August.

We have completed our coverage of Round Four's Play of the Week (a ghol charge that secures the high ground and victory) and Blunder of the Week (a dwarf who's on fire... literally). Enjoy!

Elimination Round Five has finished, and Civil Order, Evil Inc, Snap, Krackle, Die! and Glue the Moose advance to the Winnowing Round, to be held this weekend. Results and films are now available from this website.

The first of the highlights from Round Four have been posted, with the Team of the Week and Match of the Week trophies going to Desf and FS vs Sabre respectively.
Since there are only six matches being played this round, there's little point selecting Spotlight Matches any more. All of the matches should be worth watching!

The steady stream of reviews has slowed to a trickle and then stopped... I reviewed civil vs BMF (partly) as an attempt to try and get people to remain interested, but nobody is reviewing any more matches.
If you have the time to do so, we'd appreciate it, especially since so many people don't like it when I review matches. The Results section has details on how to submit reviews.

Results for Round Four have been posted, and the matchups for Round Five have been sent out. Please note that the results for BMF vs Civil aren't up yet because I didn't get time yet... a placeholder is up instead.
Also note that the fallback times are Friday and Sunday as per usual, not the compressed Thursday/Friday schedule that we discussed at one point.

Bellendaine has completed work on Smells Like Death In Here v1.1 for MWC99. This map must be downloaded for Round Five, as we will be playing Territories on the mesh "Smells Like My Nemesis In Here" (the two-team one, with thrall).
For more details, see the maps page.
Round Four results and Round Five brackets will be posted shortly. Sorry for the delay, but with the Triumvirate all out of town it's just me processing results.
