Belgarion: This Cracks Terries game does not feature terribly original strategic thinking by either side. EoW takes more archers and only 2 dwarves, while MCC takes fewer archers and 4 dwarves. Otherwise, it's max ghols/stygs/warrs. Both teams attempt to take over the middle and the course of the game is decided within the first few minutes when a huge melee battle ensues on the top of the hill after the ritualistic exchange of harmless fire arrows. Strangely enough, EoW does not bring their ghols into the battle, instead preferring to send them to "take flags", or some strange voodoo like that. It would seem that MCC would have the upperhand with the extra melee advantage from their ghols, but some targeting issues and the fact that they get absolutely no production from their 4 dwarves dooms them. EoW's ghols sweep back onto the hill as the melee battle finishes (firmly in EoW's favor) and all that's left is mop-up.

Achilles: This is A Short Film About Killing. MCC are off and away to the centre of the map immediately, showing smart thinking in troop movement i.e; warriors and Stygian Knights separate and advance in two prongs, so bowmen don't get tangled with the melee. Up north, EoW are also making a rapid move for the middle, their bunched rabble has twenty archers to the MCC sixteen, and they have one dwarf less than MCC's three. A small group of EoW knights make it to the crest of the hill first to find themselves pincered by maxed out MCC ghols who attacked with an aggression brought by having a lot of dwarfsteak for brekkie. MCC troops swarmed on to the mound, and formed up for battle as if to say ` hey, we are playing King of the Hill guys` EoW countered this with ` OK then we will play Prince of The Bottom of This Gradient chaps`. Then it all went large very quickly. MCC melee charged down upon the EoW units who were not given a chance to prepare. MCC flame arrows sought out dwarves and enemy bowmen, with little or no reply from EoW artillery and it looked very bad for the Eye of the World team at this point. The fight that had kicked off was difficult to watch, partly because it was so fast, but also because there was a lot of green smoke and flame which was hard to see through. The smoke and dust began to clear as EoW ghols did a lean and mean flanking charge on MCC archers, who broke into a lazy stroll away, apparently smug in their thinking that some MCC melee would soon be back before any serious damage could be done. But there wasn't a friendly sword left to help them. All MCC melee had been wiped out with a ferocity not seen since the 7th Cavalry had a really bad day. ( It wasn't witnessed what happened to the MCC dwarves, but whatever it was it was probably nasty ). EoW triumphantly gained the hill with the remainder of their force, being ten warriors, seven knights and three bowmen. The last MCC archers were given a first class ticket to the next world, then EoW warriors made their way to the remainder of MCC's army, a sorry pair of thrall guarding one flag at the home fort. The phrase ` game over` was heard well before the sixth minute had passed. An excellent win of maximum points for EoW.
