The numbers next to each player are [kills] : [losses], as displayed in the film of this game.
Reviewed by Achilles: It was some indication that AED lacked a sense of organisation when some units had still not been assigned as planning time ended. In consequence, it was the speed off the mark by EoW from their south-east start that very quickly gave them the advantage. AED Stygian Knights feinted west from their home flag then had a change of heart (?) and made for the north-east. EoW had maxed soulless at the expense of dwarves, leaving thrall and some Hollow Men to guard the home flag while the melee raced off to capture south and east flags. Meanwhile, all 15 of the AED soulless made for high ground near the centre of the map. Three dwarves and eight warriors remained as a defence at AED home base. It was evident in game chat that EoW were quicker to communicate with each other, and were well co-ordinated in their withdrawal to camp on their home flag when they were the first team to hear `Victory Imminent`. AED tagged their fifth flag shortly after, and easily repelled a half-hearted EoW assault at home, the first time that AED soulless had been involved in this game. A valiant but misguided attack on the EoW flag resulted in the loss of all AED attacking melee, if some AED soulless had been involved in this final action then the result of the game might have been quite different. EoW take the win due mainly to their speedy flag tagging and decision to camp at home.
