Reviewed by toxyn: This game is an example of a dwarf gone mad! =) AoE trades for thrall, max warriors, max ghols, 2 dwarfs, 21 archers, 15 pigs. BoB goes with 20 archers, 4 wights, few thrall, max warriors and ghols, a Journeyman, and 18 pigs. The game starts up, AoE sends mass amounts of warriors and ghols to the middle, followed up by archers. They send their pork North, assisted by thrall and a dwarf. This is where the mistakes begin. First AoE does not scout the South, and continues to keep pigs in North, BoB could have also gone south. Both teams had little or no units guarding the south flags. But anyway, Thaur's puss loaded ghols launch an attack on AoE's middle forces. Although it might have been better to save that puss for AoE's pigs, it was a well executed attack. BoB sends 2 ghols North, and they end up locating AoE's pigs. Now AoE begins to look a little sloppy (sorry guys), as those same 2 ghols from BoB cause Lugole to kill his OWN pigs! Still both teams hesitate for better positioning, as BoB moves to the middle, rather then south, letting AoE ghols come in and chop up most of their pigs. Not all bad, BoB managed a sneak attack with a wight to kill some archers, nice one. Both team managed to keep some pork alive, and then they try to run their pigs home. It's no use however, as time runs out and they tie.
The Brotherhood of BoB: no pigs, 0 points. |
