Map: Cracks in the Cloudspine
The numbers next to each player are [kills] : [losses], as displayed in the film of this game.
Reviewed by Stinger: TWF started the match off with a traditional strategy, divvying out troops in preparation for a glorious engagement and victory at the center of this map, while FOS dealt out units by unit type in preparation for... slaughter. Redwolf and Bababooey of TWF run middle with their ghols early in the game, only to find no one to engage. Upon searching further, Bababooey finds what Lancer calls "unprotected archers". Bababooey proves him right as he and Redwolf cut down the 11 hapless bowmen. The game progresses in much the same way, the few highlights are TWF Sir Robyn's lone styg that kills seven FOS bowmen (before the other four discover the knives on their belts), FOS Powerkill's "This is pointless", and watching the FOS melee rearrange itself several times on the home flags. The only decent play on the part of FOS came when TWF player Pure Nova fed archers to FOS Griffin's high seated home dwarves, who savored each and every kill. My favorite game point had to be when someone scribbled "LOL" on the overhead, which summed up my experience with this film nicely. TWF finishes the match off by engaging the FOS home melee with their's and a brace of dwarves. Game ends 12-0 after 30 seconds in sudden death. TWF takes the win with no contest.
