Reviewed by Magellan: Despite ID's win on this game, Sm deserves kudos for not giving up. At a time when ID has the lead, the units, and the momentum, Sm does a good job of regrouping, finding opportunities, and taking them. In the end, the teams tie on flags, but since ID tags its last flag first, ID gets the victory bonus. Both teams start the game in standard fashion, tagging the four flags on their respective sides. Sm, having set up strong defenses at both of its outer flags, does some puzzling maneuvers as it moves its defense off of one of them, allowing an ID ghol to tag it without contest. At Sm's other outer flag, an ID offensive led by Pagan God and Azathoth all but wipes out Sm's offensive muscle, killing a trow, many berserks, and a warlock. At this point, with 6:11 left in the game, ID is up 6-4 and Sm is short on any speedy units. Things look grim for Sm. But Sm rallies to get two more flags while giving up none. Fire of Sm uses a ghol to lure a lone ID brigand off of a fort flag, managing a tag-and-run. Then the Sm trow stomps across the map to kick a lone ID berserk guard and tag Flag 4. Sm attempts to contest ID's last fort flag to try for a win, but Sm's ghol is a stride short of contesting range at the final bell.
