"For FUN and HONOR!"
Diversity
#CP# games open to the public are generally random teams, ensuring
everyone gets a chance to lead. Clan Plaid enjoys the variety of each
person's strategy and playing styles. Generally, the winners of the
previous game pick the next. Body Count is frowned upon, as it is the
anathema of the Plaid spirit of fun, strategic and diverse play.
Respect
A Plaid shall always respect the person and abilities of others. Those
new to the game will be treated with generosity. Team captains are in
charge, and their decisions are to be followed. The place of the Host
will be treated with honor. Foul language, insults and poor
sportsmanship are unacceptable in #CP# open games.
Camradarie
We are Plaid and we are Proud. Everyone who desires to fight in the
Plaid spirit is welcome in our #CP# open games.
Joy of Myth
Crowns and points mean naught in #CP# open games. Winning is optional,
though encouraged. No pressure here. Newbies can learn. Veterans can
experiment. Everyone is encouraged to play to the best of their
ability, however, so as not to dimish the experience of their
teammates.
Call to Plaid
Those who agree with the Plaid Creed are welcome to join our order. We
encourage you to play often on #CP# open games, but please refrain
from pestering your generous host for membershp. If you play with
honor and become a regular, we will welcome you to the Plaid! We
particularly encourage those lucky souls with T1 or faster Internet
connections to join us, so more open #CP# games can be formed. Help
spread the Plaid throughout all of bungie.net!
0 people have bet on Clan Plaid to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99.
MWC99 Threat Assessment: Clan Plaid are a fixture of the Myth community. Although they've never
really been very big on tournament play, they have a staggering number
of members and a very broad base of skills to draw upon. However,
their organisation for MWC99 has been... somewhat lacking... and a lot
depends on how well the members of this motley Plaid enry work
together as a team.
QR Week 1: Low on numbers and having trouble coordinating, the Plaid team faced their toughest opponents of the Qualifying Round and lost 3-0 to Civil Order. With the new additions to their roster, they should have more success next week.
QR Week 2: The Plaid Brigade add more members to their roster and take on the Nine Avatara in an extremely close match, in the end losing by a single pig. Good play though, virtually guaranteeing their advancement to the DE ladder if they can keep it up. They do similarly against CMG/B... but this time winning. On to Week Three, which will be make-or-break week for the Plaidies.
