"Interficiemus vos et tum tarde patimini multo tormento quia nostrae pertiae superant vos omne modo. Provocamus vos tentare pugnareque nos! Mors veniet omnibus arogantibus!"
Our Order began when my brother, Belgarath, decided with his friend, Aldur,
to create an Order for MythII. They thought of their favorite author, David
Eddings, and decided to use his worlds as basis for creating an order. Our
Order has recieved enormous success. As we have had up to 7 members of our
Order on the Individual Overall Leader Board at once and have been 1st place
overall in the Order ranks for 7 days and have been a celestial Order for
months. We are able to contend with the best, as we have fought and beaten
samii. Our Order is almost exclusively very high ranking emps with 11
emperors in all. We also have apprentices who consist of Lords, and a Prince.
Our main Order however will be competing in this Tourney so basically all
emps. Some Star members of our order are: Me, Elayne, the reknowned
Taliosflacon, Blitzkad, and Lord Canada. We always play fairly and are
skilled at every map (yes even desert!) in at least one game type. Our best
overall game type is Body Count, but we also like all of them. Myself and
Elayne are on the individual Leader board due to being well rounded. Thus, we
are not easily outwitted or outplayed. We hope to be a major contender in
this fine World Cup and bonus felix!
17 people have bet on David Eddings Order to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 7.8)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: The David Eddings Order obviously pride themselves on excelling at a
wide range of ranked competition. Once again, we will see how well
these skills translate to a tournament environment.
QR Week 1: A solid defeat of the Harajuku Drinkers proves that the David Eddings Order can play well when they have an appropriate plan, but that their overall strategies aren't as well-developed as they could be.
QR Week 2: Edd play well against the Wolfpack, but are clearly outclassed on several counts.
QR Week 3: The Edd team round off their Qualifying Round performance with a win against the High Plains Driftas that is marked more by a total anti-climax in the crucial third game than any particularly stunning play.
DE Round 3: Edd are under-prepared and outmatched for their match against GfH and don't really stand a chance... they are defeated easily and eliminated from the tournament.
