"We be gettin' down wit' no delay"
Much like the TV show "Battlestar Gallactica", we're a rag tag fugitive
fleet with an insipid cast, no story line and luke warm special effects.
Our players are a core of veterens hardened in the trenches of Myth TFL.
Some of us left the core group to do spinoff shows with Mr.
T....err....wait, that was Dirk Benedict and it wasn't really a spinoff.
We have played in several tournaments previous and our biggest success
was the JaG sponsered "Cloudspine Combat" Tournament which was won by
AKA. Woohoo!
141 people have bet on Glue the Moose to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 4.2)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: The Glue the Moose team contains some familiar faces as well as some unknowns.
Without any notable tournament successes we don't expect them to seriously
contend for the Cup, but with this roster who can tell for certain?
QR Week 1: GtM destroy a disorganized Corps team to claim the first of many victories in the MWC99 season. Next week pits them against Manic Depressant Dwarves and Altus Praeses, for a greater challenge.
QR Week 2: GtM demonstrate that they've been playing Myth II a lot more than Altus Praeses, and outplay them on almost every count. Threat rating upgraded to three trow. With their new trow in hand, GtM cruise to a max-points victory over MDD, the outcome of this match never in doubt even for a second.
QR Week 3: The Moose continue their trek through the Brigand pool, adding SR's antlers to their trophy case.
DE Round 1: GtM easily outmatch Infinite Republic on all counts and take the match in mad gangsta style (to coin a phrase). Can't anyone stop these guys?
DE Round 2: Well, it seems that someone can. Ira Dei have been practicing and polishing their strategies for a while, and GtM just aren't firing on all cylinders. Fumbling strategies and some unfortunate mistakes lose them the match.
DE Round 3: With a better performance than last week, GtM are able to take down the 58th Wild Cards in a very close match, made even closer by repeated pus bungling from the Moose... only a lightning-fast strike by Kap in the CTF game saved them from abject humiliation.
