"thousands are sailing the same self the only self self willed the peril of a thousand fates a line of infinite ends finite finishing one group remains oblique and pure arching to the single point of conciousness to find themselves starting back"
We've been around for a very long time. To be exact, the night that
the Myth 1 demo was released. CyberHunter, the cofounder, came up with
the name and made our first web page. I (Exorcist) led the men on the
battlefield. We're still here with the same core group of guys that
played with us back then (just about).
We've been in two of the biggest order tournaments in Myth 1, "The
Camelot Cup" and "The Myth World Cup '98". We made it to round 4 in
the Cup, even beating the host order, camelot themselves (sorry
Camelot). In the MWC '98 we defeated the first five orders that we
played but suffered defeat afterwards due to some coordination woes.
We hope that the MWC '99 will be as much fun as the '98 and are also
determined to make an even larger step into the tournament
rounds. When on the field of war, we improvise strategies on the spot,
keep calm under high pressure situations and are always one step ahead
of the enemy.
8 people have bet on The Infinity Watch to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 6.4)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: The Infinity Watch are one of the very few orders that can truly claim
to have been active on bungie.net right from the very beginning. Their
grasp of Myth theory is formidable, with strategic innovation being a
key point in their plan. However, it has been a while since we've last
seen them in action, and with only five active members they
may have trouble getting a full tournament team to any given match. If
they manage to overcome these two hurdles then expect to see their
threat rating upgraded as the tournament progresses.
QR Week 2: The Infinity Watch manage to get all five players to their match against the Kings of Aesir, and the numerical advantage lets them easily take on the two outmatched Aesir players.
DE Round 2: IW come up against the Heroes of Legend, the number one seed in the Double Elimination ladder. In a match marked by fast assaults and aggressive play, they manage to come out on top by a significant margin and advance to Round Three.
