 We are The Manic Depressant Dwarves. We
like to play almost anything trow exept BC, assassin on almost any map,
lmoth and also koth on Venice. We have been playing in the Culldon Hill
Tournament won 3 of 3 games and have not heard anything from them
scince. We have played a total of 60 Desert Koth games and have not
lost 1 game, we also hardly ever lose at assassin trow, if we dont win
at a balls on parade game it ends up to be a tie, when we do play body
count trow we win, and last but not least we have the #5 stampede player
and he is aslo the #11 and still going up assassin player.
2 people have bet on Manic Depressant Dwarves to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 9.0)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: Obviously these guys know their stuff on Venice and Trow... we will
have to see how well they do on a wider range of maps like that
featured in MWC99.
QR Week 1: MDD come up against Altus Praeses in their first week and acquit themselves well, managing to win a stand-up fight on Cracks in the Cloudspine (but then losing the rest of the match).
QR Week 2: Against Semper Regantes, MDD perform similarly but just don't have the attendance to succeed. 2 players versus 5 is never easy. And when they do get the players that they need... they come up against Glue the Moose and get smacked down. It's not pretty.
DE Round 1: MDD try valiantly against e.i and keep them on their toes, but never really have a chance at winning and are relegated to the bottom bracket.
DE Round 2: In a similar kind of match to last round, MDD come up against -ni- and suffer the same kind of problems. Superbean and Rabid One are outnumbered by a full -ni- team and can't really compete, thus MDD exit from the tournament. Good job, guys, and thank you for playing!
