"Ya get nothin for nothin if that's what you do, turn around b*tch I got a use for you, besides you ain't got nothin better to do and I'm bored" - Axel Rose
Mac gamers' Guild is actually made up of one of the original Myth
orders, 1984, but when the clan grew to a size of 200 Elv and Homer
decided it was time to grab the players they liked to play with and
form another clan based on the mac platform. So after stealing the
name from Cerius we formed MgG and have recently expanded our agenda
to fit the name by including several online games like Star Craft and
Unreal to the groups online gaming. We like to have fun and that is
the soul purpose when playing. We have entered several tournaments
only to drop out after a few rounds...maybe we just don't have what it
takes to stick with it for weeks or months? We have done well in some
individual tournaments only to drop out early, this time WE WILL STICK
IT OUT! (I wish I could enforce this but short of mail bombing I
really am powerless)
10 people have bet on Mac Gamers' Guild to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 6.3)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: MgG participated in MWC98 last year, and were eliminated during the
Qualifying Round, largely because they were unable to schedule their
matches successfully. We hope that the same problems won't occur this year.
QR Week 1: A loss to The Companions, but MgG do very well to take a game off a team who are considered one of the favourites for MWC99. If they can keep this up, they should make it out of the Qualifying Round a little bruised, but still swinging.
QR Week 2: MgG really pull one out of the bag with their defeat of -ni-, who were fresh from their victory over the Companions... nice play results in an upgrade to three trow.
DE Round 5: Someone finally gets around to reviewing a MgG match! It's been a while, but since we last met them they haven't lost a single match. That all changes when they come up against Alliance, and they just can't muster the concentration and coordination needed to beat such a formidable foe. A loss sends them down to the Bottom Bracket, where they will face Civil Order.
