OMAG Order Me Another Guinness
Contact: Da' Minion (Alternate: Ailil)

Order Me Another Guinness Logo

"A Myth Order Thirsty for Variety."

OMAG was founded in the early Spring of 1998 by two inebriated FFAers bent on creating an environment on bungie.net free from cheating comets and newbie muggers. We strive to create an environment which offers fun and challenging competition; and enables others to explore Myth in all its variety. Since our inception we have grown to a formidable 20 members.

OMAG is a "free for all" order first and foremost. It is not uncommon to find several OMAGs in a room prepared battle on one another; however, we are always happy to have others join in the mayhem. We appreciate variety and honest gameplay and our games show it. We are not above teaming up, but we do our best to play FFA only. As a result OMAG is home to some of the best players on bungie.net. Not many orders can boast that they can play the keyboard with one hand with a pint in the other.

Our creed is simple: "With a mind to fairness, humor, trust, and intensity -- stretching the boundaries of Myth gameplay whilst downing healthy gulps of sudsy cheer."

37 people have bet on Order Me Another Guinness to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 7.2)

MWC99 Threat Assessment: We've never heard of these guys. No, just kidding. The OMAGs have been a fixture on bungie.net for quite a while now. What kind of fixture? A tap, of course. But seriously, folks, ... with a roster full of skilled FFA players, OMAG has the talent to contend, if they can pay attention long enough. And if they fall by the wayside, don't grieve for them, because they've got Stout hearts.

QR Week 1: Fighting Victus Semper to a tie, OMAG show that they can work together when it's on the line. They'll need their wits about them when they face the Knights of the Apocalypse in Week Two, though.

QR Week 2: OMAG defeat the Legion of Tyrael solidly as expected, but their match vs the Knights of the Apocalypse is rudely interrrupted by KoA's decision to quit in the middle of the deciding game, leaving the match at a 1-all tie. What little we could assess of their strategies in this game wasn't terribly inspiring, though, with a totally braindead Stampede performance...
