"If you see us, consider yer sorry ass kicked."
Random Oblivion was formed in late 1998, more exactly at the beginning of
November of that year. This was in the time of Myth: The Fallen Lords. One day, Ferian and RavenShade decided to simply
make an order. No more than 30 minutes after, RO was formed and we had 4 peoples in it (At that time they
were: Lord Ferian, RavenShade, Avelyn and Vyperguy). Not too long after,
Zor Prime, who was on an intensive order search became the fifth element of
this order.
When Myth II came out, RO has been shake a lot and got his share of
troubles. New members came and some left. After the storm, we are
currently 5. This includes the lates addition of Dill Pickle.
As an order, we never played in tourney during the myth:tfl days. But when
Myth II came, we decide to take part in those tourneys and we had fun in
everyone we played (single tourneys and order tourneys). To this date, we
have been playing in Major Myth Leagues, TTWC and are currently in the OGL
Myth II Ladder. We also played in some singleplayer tourneys.
On a light note, we have some units that fight for us and that we take
really good care of them. If you play against us, you will surely have to
endure the story of those units. Here they are: Lord HAZZA (ghol), GODLY
GUY (warrior) and Nicky Balsamo (warrior).
So that is it, see you all on the battlefields...
1 person has bet on Random Oblivion to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 10.0)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: We've never heard of these guys before.
QR Week 1: RO get slaughtered by numbers by Snap in the first game of their match, and never really recover. Maybe they will have more success against Evilmen and Ascension in Week Two.
QR Week 2: Random Oblivion manage to pull out excellent strategy and coordination in order to deflect and defeat the Evilmen's brute-force strategies and take a well-deserved victory. Threat rating upgraded to two trow. However against Ascension they just can't seem to get their strategies together. They don't know what to do when the enemy won't face them on the hill in Cracks, and their pigs are gently roasted in a sweet pus vinaigrette.
QR Week 3: The French Free Frogs are the next order that Random Oblivion face, and despite a few slips RO manage to defeat them handily. Much the same could be said for their match against VG, and Random Oblivion cruise on into the Double Elimination ladder with a respectable seed.
DE Round 1: Random Oblivion's strategies are definitely showing more finesse, and they manage to deflect and contain DM's juggernauts effectively to win their first DE match.
DE Round 2: Random Oblivion come up against BMF and get smashed. Ouch.
