I first played Myth when I found a demo on a MacAddict CD. I had played the previous Bungie game Marathon but it never really caught my fancy. When I played the Myth demo I was stunned. The graphics were incredible, the gameplay was amazing, and the camera movement was awe-inspiring (Hehe). I soon went out and bought the game itself. It was not long before I had beaten the single player campaign and decided to go on this thing called bungie.net. Now I had never before played an online game (Well not including MUDs) and I got my ass kicked. It was not long before my skill had improved tremendously and I had met some cool people online. First I met a guy named Raven'hade (who I refer to as Oniichan) who always wanted to have a good time, and often lost because of it. Then Vyperguy came along, RS really liked him and he seemed sort of nice, if a bit spoiled. Avelyn wandered into our fold next, now this guy was weird he is the meanest person I know... Although he is kinda funny. One day RS and I were playing a few games and an idea popped into my mind. About ten minutes later we had emailed Avelyn and Vyp. Random Oblivion was born. Zor Prime then joined our order. He was certainly one of, if not the nicest person I had ever met online. He also kicked ass at Myth. Eventually we let him into RO. As time passed we began to become increasingly excited about Myth II and while playing the demo I met a fellow named Merlin. He was weird, but quite good at Myth and he was a professional web page designer. After talkin to Ave and RS we decided to let him in. Once Myth II had been officially released we ran into a weird guy named Chaos Lord. Now he begged to be let into RO, and although we did ignore most people that begged to be let in. Chaos Lord was quite good at Myth, he also had a small sense of humor. As a joke we decided to let him in if he changed his name to "Dill Pickle". To our surprise he accepted. These are the people that make up RO. Now our order has had its share of problems. When Myth II came out Vyperguy could not get it to work on his Puny Pentium and never actually played Myth. Sadly he eventually left RO. Merlin was weirder. He started screwing around and one day left RO, needless to say we did not really care. My most recent events have been when I delved into the depths of Fear and decided one day to convert the Myth I Avatara unit to Myth II. About six hours (and ten glasses of coke) later I was finished (The plugin can be downloaded at the Mill). I have participated in many FFA tourneys as well as a few with my order mates. A few of these are: MLM, Nipple, the OGL ladder, and the Otherlands tourney. I hope to be involved of many more such tourneys as that is where Myth is at its peak.
