[6:00 AM] Again With The "Boggle" Label! This Time It's Version 1.5
by Staff

C.DEV announced the release of a brand new version of their word game: C.DEV Boogle. It is the first full-featured, Boggle-type game available for the Macintosh. According to the company:

Boogle tosses you a grid of twenty-five random letters, based on one of three difficulty levels, and it's your job to create as many words, from adjacent letters, as you can before the timer goes off. Statistically speaking, Boogle is packed with features, including the BRI: the ultimate way to prove your lexical superiority! Sure, Boogle is fully appearance savvy, but you can also use custom themes to improve the look of your game screen. Best of all, you can create your own full color themes in any graphics program and share them with other players.

Highlights of version 1.5:

  • Major overhaul of the random letter algorithm
  • More "fair" distribution of consonants and vowels
  • Added "Difficulty" menu with 3 choices of increasing complexity
  • Added a new theme by Toren Valimir

C.DEV Boogle 1.5 is US$10 shareware and is available for download. You can find more information on C.DEV Boogle at the company's web site.
