[11:00 AM] No Graphite iBook (Yet), But You Can Get Your iBook Bag In Graphite (With Pics)
by Staff

If this new product announcement is being made in anticipation of a new Graphite iBook, then the good people at Dr. Bott aren't tellin'. The company is announcing a Graphite iBook Bag. The iBook Bag is a carrying case designed for and inspired by the iBook. The new color is ostensibly aimed at more conservative iBook owners looking for a more professional image than the company's current Blueberry and Tangerine iBook Bags offer. According to Dr. Bott:

Dr. Bott is pleased to announce West Ridge Design's iBookBag in Graphite!

iBookBag is an "iBook inspired" carrying bag specifically designed for larger laptop computers like Apple's iBook. The new Graphite version provides the same great design, in a color scheme that is more appropriate for professionals and Apple's G3 PowerBooks.

The new Graphite version will be shipping February 17th.

The original Blueberry and Tangerine iBookBag saw rave reviews from resellers and end users alike. David Pogue of "iBook for Dummies" fame said, "Beautiful, beautiful bags… brilliant design."

  • iBook Inspired Design
  • Leather Handle
  • Thick closed-cell foam padding
  • Made of nylon pack cloth and DuPont Cordura®
  • "Serious" welded hardware
  • Now in Graphite, Blueberry, and Tangerine
  • Roomy enough for most laptops
  • Lifetime warranty

The iBook Bag is priced at US$69.95 and will ship on February 17th. You can find more information on the product at the company's web site.
