Long time Mac pundit Don Crabb has been ill for more than two months. MacWeek, one of the many, many publications Mr. Crabb has written for, has put up a message board for people to leave get well messages. According to MacWeek:
Don Crabb, longtime Mac pundit and former MacWEEK columnist, is seriously ill.
"He collapsed the day of his wedding and has been in the hospital ever since December 3," writes Jim Polaski, a Chicago photographer and Mac consultant. "Don has survived septic shock and now pancreatitis, and has had surgery relative to these conditions. In addition, Don has lost between 100 and 200 pounds from the 375 or so he was at on December 3. The Mac community misses him greatly!"
Please use this forum to post get-well greetings and other messages for Don.
You can hit the message board directly on MacWeek's site.
The Mac Observer Spin: Mr. Crabb has been praised and criticized roundly, including here at The Mac Observer, for many of the positions he has taken at one time or another. However, Mr. Crabb is a Mac fan of the highest caliber and has done much to further the Mac cause. His prolific writing is only part of those efforts too as Mr. Crabb has belonged to lots of Mac groups, advisory boards, and other projects. We wish Mr. Crabb a speedy recovery so he can get back to his work!
