[6:00 AM] Launch Strip Adds Task Bar & Other Features In Upgrade
by Staff
WestCode Software has updated their multifunction program launcher, Launch Strip. Version 2.0 allows users to open anything from documents to URLs, while avoiding desktop clutter. According to WestCode:
Launch Strip can open applications, documents, URLs, disks, folders, control panels, and servers. Frequently used items can be added to the floating Launch Strip palette by means of simple drag and drop, and then quickly opened anytime by clicking a button or through a user-assigned keyboard shortcut. Multiple Launch Strips can be used to organize items into separate groupings (projects, categories, etc.). Folder or Disk buttons can even be used to navigate Open/Save dialog windows allowing users to quickly switch to a different folder location within an application.
