[6:00 AM] SyBrowser Database Viewing Tool Updated
by Staff

MacSOS has just announced that SyBrowser, the database table viewing tool, has been updated to version 3.0. The new version promises a speed increase, as well as the option of threading queries. According to MacSOS:

New features include:

  • ODBC Queries are now 10% faster
  • Queries can now be threaded
  • Enabled "Find" command on Results window
  • Added syntax coloring for SQL commands

SyBrowser is a suite of 32-bit Macintosh and Win32 ODBC client applications that provide an overview of the tables in Sybase and MS SQL databases hosted on

UNIX, Linux, and Windows servers. It allows the execution of SQL queries against these RDBMS and the query results can be exported to disk. Complex queries can be saved to disk for reuse.

SyBrowser is available as shareware for US$25. You can find more information at the MacSOS web site.
